APCA Reaches out to Fire Victims of Lailam and Noksa

APCA General Secretary Presenting a Cheque
The Arunachal Pradesh Catholic Association reaches out to the fire victims of Noksa village in Longding district by distributing clothes, utensils and cash to the victims of those affected by a devastating fire. The relief materials, including a cheque for Rs. 50,000 was handed over by Tekhi Nabam, General Secretary, APCA, on behalf of the organization. Mr. Taw Tebin, President APCA, says that the amount handed over was donated by the Manipur Catholic Association, while the used clothes were mobilized by the students of Don Bosco College, Jollang, Itanagar. Earlier, APCA had extended similar assistance to the fire victims of Lailam village in Tirap district, whose homes were also destroyed by fire. Additionally, APCA had conducted an awareness camp in Anini, the district headquarters of Dibong valley on 24 March 2021, where suicide cases were reported to rampant among the Edu Mishmi community. This initiative was widely appreciated by the local people.
