Post Mass Group Photo on Easter -2021
Come April 4, 2021, and the campus of the Sahoday School in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas, was invaded by a spectrum of colours as the North East Catholic Community of Delhi (NECCOD) met to celebrate Easter together – the first organized Programme the organisation witnessed during 2021. The imitable colorful presentation by people of North East was yet again exhibited, with the day’s proceedings preceded by a Eucharistic celebration, with Rv. Fr. Vijay Barretto as the Celebrant. The number of participants however was sadly restricted to 200, in view of the Government notified Covid 19 Standard Operating Procedures, which was strictly complied by the Executive Committee. As per the initial programme, the celebration was divided into two major sessions, the 1st Session being the Holy Mass, to be followed by a packed Second Session with Games, Fun and the Easter Meal. However, with the announcement of the new Covid SOPs by the government, the proposed second session was truncated to a mere exchange of greetings and light refreshment. But for disappointments for those who could not join the celebration, the occasion was a solemn one, giving a section of the NECCOD family to rejoice on the Lord’s resurrection day.
