Archbishop Victor Lyngdoh
The North East Catholic Research Forum (NECRF) extends a hearty congratulations to Archbishop Victor Lyngdogh on his appointment as the President of the North East India Regional Bishops Council (NEIRBC), succeeding Archbishop John Moolachira of Guwahati. Archbishop Victor Lyngdogh was born on Jan. 14, 1956, in Wallang, East Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya. He was ordained priest on Jan. 25, 1987, in the archdiocese of Shillong. He was appointed bishop of Nongstoin on Jan. 28, 2006, and took over as the Archbishop of Shillong diocese, following an untimely demise of archbishop Dominic Jala, in 2020. The Forum wishes him a successful tenure and prays for his good health and God’s abundant blessings.
